History

Our story began over a hundred years ago in 1888. My great-great Grandmother founded a livery stable and dray line that was comprised of 4 horses and 2 wagons. From that modest beginning my ancestors worked very hard through the Great Depression and other challenging times to diversify the Business and maintain viability in the market place.

My Grandfather, Henry Reynolds, purchased our first crane after WWII in 1946. We still have that crane today having been recently refurbished. It is a great reminder of how far our industry has progressed and improved.

In 1972 my Father, Edward Reynolds purchased a Grove TMS 650. I was 14 years old at the time. The crane was delivered on a Rail Road car and we made a family event out of unloading it. At that time it was the largest piece of equipment I had ever been close to. It really took by breath away. I can remember a few people questioning my Father whether or not Madison could support a crane of that size. Thank goodness he had the foresight to make this purchase. It turned out to be a great investment that we still own.

Today, along with my 2 sons Nathanael and Nicholas we continue into the sixth generation of not only family ownership, but also management. We feel strongly that diversification is one of the key components to longevity. Along those lines, we have invested heavily in cranes, as well as a facility for our rental and sales fleet. We became a Dealer for Tadano Cranes, Mantis Cranes, Xtreme Fork Trucks, and Snorkel Lifts, followed by Magni and Demag Cranes. We are so proud to be associated with these excellent machines. These manufacturers are truly world class. We constantly have an eye on our future and look forward to it with great anticipation.

Please give us an opportunity to show you our commitment to service and adding value for our customers.

Sincerely,
